We are pleased to inform you that District Governor Rtn. Rajib Pokhrel has allocated $25,000 (approximately Rs 3,000,000) for District Grant projects. Clubs interested in applying for district grant are now requested to submit one application each, in the attached format https://formfaca.de/sm/TZ2-XP5QR. District contribution for approved projects will be approximately Rs 120,000 (equivalent to $ 1,000) and clubs must contribute a minimum of 50% of grant. Priority will be given to new clubs, remote area clubs, clubs with 25 or less members and clubs that have not done any grant in the past.
As you must be aware, District grant funds small scale short term projects that meet immediate needs of community. It does not need an international partner and can be implemented immediately upon approval of the project; the project should be completed and final report submitted within this rotary year.
We now look forward to receiving your club application, by 4 October 2020.
