Dear Rotary Clubs Presidents and Rotaract Clubs Presidents,
The deadline for submitting District Grant Applications has been extended until September 10, 2023.
We are pleased to inform you that District Governor Rtn. Rajendra Dhoju has allocated $ 40,000 to conduct district grant projects for this year. This fund will be shared equally between Rotary projects and Rotaract projects i.e., $ 20,000 for Rotary projects and $20,000 for Rotaract projects. Out of this fund, District will contribute $1,000 equivalent in Nepalese currency per approved project; this amount should be matched 100% (i.e., $1000 equivalent) by Rotary club and 50% (i.e., $ 500 equivalent) in the case of Rotaract club. As you must be aware, District Grant funds small projects to meet the immediate needs of the community.
We are now inviting applications, one per club, from Rotary and Rotaract clubs. Combined application (Rotary / Rotary or with Rotaract or Rotaract/ Rotaract) will not be entertained. The deadline for submission of the online application has been extended till 12:00 midnight 10 September 2023. We encourage you to submit early on as we have observed that applicants face server issues if too many applicants access the online form all at one time near the deadline.
The applications need to be submitted online only and can be accessed by clicking the following link:

Please note that incomplete applications and applications of clubs that have district or global grant projects reports overdue will not be eligible for grant.
Thanks to Rtn. Sujan Pradhan, Immediate Past President of RC Kakarvitta for developing the application form. Rtn Sujan (Mob: 9852662265; email: [email protected]). He will be happy to respond to your technical questions, if any, on form completion or on the link.
Based on the allocation mentioned above, 20 Rotary Clubs and 20 Rotaract clubs will receive district grants. The selection criteria are as follows:
- Quality of application,
- Clubs who have not done any district grant or global grant will be given priority,
- First come first serve basis (if two or more clubs are in a tie, preference will be given to the clubs who have applied first),
Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned or any District Grant Sub-committee member if you have any questions.
Best regards
Bandhu Ranjan
Chair, District Grant Sub-committee
