ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE LOCKDOWN | RC KTM MID-TOWN

On 2nd Sep 2020, RC KTM MID-TOWN’s CONTINUING ASSISTANCE TO THOSE MOST AFFECTED BY THE LOCKDOWN
RC Mid-Town was involved in feeding approximately 700 hungry people. These were daily wages workers, homeless people, and those living on the streets in different areas of the Kathmandu Valley such as Ratna Park, Jamal, Lazimpat, Dhalku, Sorahkhutte, Thamel, and Balaju. We offered a simple meal of rice, mixed vegetables curry, and a bottle of water. We are grateful to Indira Rana Magar of PA Nepal for providing the cooking infrastructure and for managing the event so well.
As you can see from these photos, although it was gloomy and rainy in the evening, hungry people gathered from different areas to receive the cooked meals.
