On 24 Oct 2019, Rotaract Club of Dharan Ghopa, in joint collaboration with Rotary Club of Dharan Ghopa, on the occasion of World Polio Day, conducted various programmes regarding Polio Awareness and Eradication.
The day started with the distribution of the colored ribbons. Also, there was an awareness program in Depot School, Dharan. Around 30 students got benefited from the session and there was the presence of 3 rotaractors. The students got to know about Polio as the disease, the possible causes of it and possible measures to eradicate it.
Later in the day, a Motorcyle Rally was conducted from GOPD of BPKIHS to Zero Point, Dharan where about 52 people participated. The Rally was conducted in collaboration with Traffic Police, Dharan and was well entertained by the locals of Dharan.
