On 18th Jan 2020, Rotaract Club Dharan Ghopa organized “Punarjeevan -Hope for Life ” a First aid and BLS training and “Parisarya-Doctors at Doors” a general health screening program for the traffic police of Sunsari District. The program was started at 1:30 pm onwards and lasted for about 2 hours.
There were about 30 traffic police officers who were able to screen their BP and Random blood sugar test along with First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
The main objectives of the program was to train the traffic police officers for first aid and BLS like CPR which might be helpful for them in case of Road traffic accidents and other similar accidents. And also our another objective was to screen their BP and Blood Sugar Level.
All the officers were very enthusiastic in learning and were happy to get their health checked up .They expected further more similar programs from us in the future.
Total 14 rotaractors volunteered in the program and we hope many more participation in similar programs in the future.
